Early departures (signing out) and Collection of children during school time
At times, there are reasons that children are required to leave school during the day e.g. doctor's appointment.
If a child has a medical appointment please contact the school and tell the office that a parent/carer will be picking up a child/ren for an appointment at a particular time. This way when a parent/carer comes to collect the child, they are in the office waiting and easlly signed out and collected, this process makes this easier as if a parent comes to collect their child and it is lunch time it is difficult to locate students during the actual lunch break.
Early departures due to an illness, the office would of contacted the parent and they will collect their student from the office. Early departures for a family emergency, the office to help process an early departure as soon as possible.
Identification can be required by any persons collecting students during school hours and the adult must be on the student's emergency contact list.
