Proposed Change:
Student Resource Scheme (SRS)
To provide parents with a cost-effective alternative to purchasing textbooks and/or resources elsewhere, Kruger State School operates a Student Resource Scheme (SRS) for 2026. The SRS provides families with a convenient way to access the resources students need for learning.
While the Queensland Government funds school operations, families are responsible for personal resources such as textbooks, stationery, and consumables. The SRS helps reduce these costs through bulk purchasing and ensures all students have the required materials from day one. SRS fees are reviewed annually. Please contact the office to discuss in the first instance.
Participation in the SRS is optional, and parents may opt in or out each year by completing the SRS Participation Agreement Form. Families who choose not to join must provide all listed resources themselves.
An invoice is sent at the commencement of the school year or upon commencement of enrolment. A range of payment options are available, including full payment, term instalments, and negotiated payment plans. Centrepay forms are available from the school administration for families wishing to set up regular deductions. Families experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact the school confidentially to discuss support options.
