The Tucker Box Smart choice Menu
Our tuckshop has a large variety of healthy choices on the menu. The school tuckshop is operated by the P&C (Parents and Citizens Association). It is open each day of the week for First Break ( Main lunch, Big Lunch) and also for Second Break ( small break, little lunch). A paid convenor operates and manages this facility with the help of volunteer staff.
All tuckshop lunches are ordered through our Qkr! online App which you need to download onto your smart devices or phones to be able to use. Please check the school website and Facebook page for further information on how to use this app.
The cut off time for Online ordering is 7am daily so if you want to order for Monday you have all weekend until 7am Monday morning to place your order for your child to receive their lunch on that same day. You may order up to 5 days in advance which means you can order your child's lunch for the whole week.
Phone orders are only available if you can not access the online QKR! app. We will only accept phone orders before 9am and with payment at time of order with a valid credit or debit card. Phone the school on 38149333 and press 3 to be put through to the tuckshop. You can also order up to 5 days in advance over the phone with payment at time of order.
There is NO CASH handling. EFTPOS ONLY -- NO orders will be taken if you come to the Tuckshop Door.
The tuckshop menu and prices are all available online through the QKR! App and you can also pick up a paper copy from the tuckshop
for a limited time only as we will be helping to improve our carbon footprint by providing these online only through the QKR! App and the Kruger State School Website and Facebook page
For the first break or main lunch the classroom monitors will come to the tuckshop when the eating bell rings to collect their classroom lunch box and take it down to their classroom eating area and the students' lunches will be handed out by the teacher.
For the second break, the child will be required to come and pick up their own lunch from the tuckshop. The tuckshop staff will ring classrooms to remind the students who have second break orders to come and collect their orders.
Volunteers are always welcome to help in the tuckshop. If you would like to volunteer please contact the tuckshop convenor.
