Kruger State School is committed to developing inclusive schooling practices to maximise the outcomes of students through identification and reduction of barriers to learning. Students are provided with reasonable adjustments and curriculum provisions to achieve at their level ensuring full engagement occurs within the school community.
Opportunities in the development of communication, social participation, life skills, emotional wellbeing, safety, health and personal care are provided for successful transitions each year and into secondary school life. Individual student needs and adjustments received are documented in their Personalised Learning Record and are done in collaboration with parent/carers and students.
We encourage positive behaviours and value the rights of others. We offer our students opportunities to explore, consolidate and extend their understanding in a safe, productive learning environment.
If parents require a letter outlining their student’s progress for the purpose of a medical appointment, the school requires a consent to share and requires at least ten school days’ notice.
