Parent teacher communication

Parents are encouraged to discuss their child’s progress throughout the year by phoning for an appointment.

There are several points during the year when we focus on providing a formal opportunity for parents to meet their children’s teachers.

These will be advised through class and school newsletters.

Term 1

• All year levels will have a meet and greet information session early in the term.

• The prep classes  have more formally arranged interviews about the same time.

Term 2

• Years 1-6 have parent teacher interviews.

• Reports are handed out at the end of term 2 and parents are welcome to approach class teachers if they wish to discuss their children’s progress. 

Term 3

• Parents are invited to meet teachers early in term 3.

• Presentation day – students present their work and parents are encouraged to attend.

Term 4

• Reports are handed out at the end of term 4 and parents are welcome to approach class teachers if they wish to discuss their children’s progress.
