kruger Says No To Bullying On Friday 21st March 2014

19/03/2014

Our school has registered to be a part of the National Day of Action Against Bullying.  It’s a day where school communities across Australia “take a stand” against bullying.

By working together and highlighting our commitment to preventing bullying in our school, we are sending the message that bullying in or out of the school is not OK.

We are always working on improving our practices, lessons and high expectations in the areas of respect, reducing bystander behaviour, keeping problems small and students dealing with bullying behaviours towards them and others.

Please support us by:

• Looking at the website www.bullyingnoway.gov.au/national-day/

• Talking to your children about ways of dealing with bullying

Students we will be encouraged to:

• Wear something orange

• Participate and get involved in bullying prevention lessons

• Assist student council representatives in supporting the day

• Support the Tuckshop’s “Orange Day”

SO GET INVOLVED AND MAKE A STAND AGAINST BULLYING HEARD ACROSS OUR COMMUNITY!
